Healy Group, a global supplier of food ingredients, raw materials and nutraceuticals, has long placed sustainability at the heart of its business. Recognising the role of a clean food supply chain for future generations, the company embarked on an ambitious path to carbon neutrality — spanning electric vehicles, efficient workspaces, and renewable energy. To support this journey, they needed a high-performing rooftop solar system optimised for long-term financial returns at their Leicester facility.
Our tailored solutions
Through multiple site surveys and a detailed analysis of the site's electricity consumption profile, we designed and installed a 160 kWp bespoke rooftop solar energy system in June 2017 — built to deliver the strongest possible returns over the long term.
The installation became a key milestone in Healy Group's sustainability roadmap. By April 2022, the company had achieved official carbon neutral status — with solar playing a significant role alongside their broader decarbonisation initiatives. A long-term investment that proved both financially sound and environmentally meaningful.
