Biofarma Group: powering a more sustainable industrial site with solar energy

Customer needs

Biofarma Group, an industrial player specializing in the development, manufacturing, and packaging of health products for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmetic sectors, wanted to turn a regulatory requirement under the French Energy-Climate Law into a concrete energetic and economic opportunity. As part of the relocation of its CODILAB activity to a new industrial building in Saint-Hilaire-de-Loulay, the company set a clear goal: reduce its electricity bill by 15% while cutting its dependence on the grid.

Our tailored solutions

Wewise installed a 587 kWp rooftop photovoltaic system at the Biofarma Group industrial site, designed to operate in full self-consumption mode. The installation directly supplies the site with renewable electricity, reducing grid dependency from day one.

This project demonstrates Wewise's ability to transform a regulatory constraint into a driver of economic and environmental performance — fully aligned with Biofarma Group's energy transition strategy and the sustainability ambitions of its new industrial facility.
