As electricity prices continued to rise, the company needed a reliable solar solution that would lower its reliance on traditional energy sources, reduce CO₂ emissions and provide greater long-term cost certainty.

Centreco, Wewise local expert in the UK, delivered a 77 kWp tier-one photovoltaic system across Allied Filter Systems’ manufacturing facility, helping the company generate cleaner electricity directly on site and reduce its exposure to grid-supplied electricity prices.
The installation enables Allied Filter Systems to benefit from equivalent fixed electricity costs of 3.7p per kWh over 25 years, offering substantial savings compared with available grid electricity rates and protecting the business from longer-term energy price inflation. By combining cleaner power generation with stronger cost visibility, the project supports both the company’s sustainability ambitions and its operational performance.
