Customer needs
Adare Manor wanted to reduce the environmental impact of its 840-acre luxury hotel estate while maintaining the highest standards expected from a world-renowned hospitality destination. With high electricity consumption across the hotel, heat pumps and golf course facilities, the estate needed a reliable solar solution that could support its CSR ambitions and help meet growing energy needs, including EV charging for guests and staff.
Our tailored solutions
Alternative Energy Ireland delivered a 60 kWp Solar PV system with an output guarantee, helping ensure that the projected savings would be achieved. The project also included the installation of EV charging points for both guests and staff, supporting Adare Manor’s wider move towards cleaner mobility.
The installation is expected to deliver a 6-year payback and save approximately 15 tonnes of CO₂e per year. Following the success of this first project, Adare Manor later added a further 156 kWp solar PV system in 2023, reinforcing its commitment to cleaner energy and long-term environmental performance.
