British Motor Heritage Limited was established in 1975 to support owners and the marketplace by putting genuine components for classic British cars back into manufacture, using original tools wherever possible. Since 2001, when the company was acquired from BMW, it has been successfully run as an independently owned company. British Motor Heritage wanted to transition towards renewable energy to meet environmental goals and reduce energy costs.
The Solution Delivered by Centreco
Through a successful partnership with Centreco, British Motor Heritage has substantial steps toward becoming more sustainable:
Photovoltaic Installations: A bespoke 162kW system was installed across the manufacturing facility. These systems contribute significantly to the clean energy supply.
Energy Efficiency and Savings: British Motor Heritage is now able to benefit from fixed electricity costs. This offers British Motor Heritage a saving against grid-supplied electricity rates that are currently available and provides protection from longer term inflationary pressures on energy costs.
