Bastidarra, an artisanal dairy based in the French Basque Country, has taken a strong step toward the energy transition and reinforced its CSR commitments by reducing both its carbon footprint and electricity costs. As part of this approach, a 360 kWp photovoltaic power plant was installed on the roof of the dairy facility.

Today, Bastidarra benefits from locally generated renewable energy, with a significant share of the production consumed directly on site. The system now covers close to half of the facility’s annual energy needs, improving energy independence while supporting more sustainable, locally rooted operations.
